Synopsis
On 21st November 2024 the International Criminal Court finally issued arrest warrants for two Israeli leaders and one Hamas leader (since his reported death could not be confirmed) on separate and mutually exclusive charges of crimes against humanity.
Israel conducted a fierce technical legal challenge which took months to resolve and throw out before the warrants could be issued.
In the meantime another 8,172 Palestinians died.
This article cuts through pro-Israeli obfuscating horseshit around the charges.

Introduction
On 21st November 2024 the International Criminal Court finally issued arrest warrants for two Israeli leaders and one Hamas leader (since his reported death could not be confirmed) on separate and mutually exclusive charges of crimes against humanity.1
Israel conducted a fierce technical legal challenge which took months to resolve and throw out before the warrants could be issued.2
In the meantime another 8,172 Palestinians died.3
The Choice
The importance of this cannot be underestimated. Whether or not these two murderous individuals are convicted or not - it's forcing cards on the table for individuals, groups and nation states - in particular those signatories of the Rome Statute bound to honour the arrest warrants.
You're either
With Israel's US backed AIPAC 💵💵-embedded killing machine: fuck human life and international law, Orwellian networked suppression of dissent
OR
You're on the side of history, justice and frankly humanity
Simple as that.
And it's very easy to prove the hypocrisy, lies and exceptionalism of those despicable mouthpieces (politicians, media, local "Jewish representative" pro-Lobby groups such as here in Australia - an antisemitic collectivisation of all Jewish people they claim to represent by the senior management of such groups in itself) who have been enabling this murder.
It’s in plain sight, on public record, in real time.
Upholding International Law Consistently
Cards on the table. Start by what should be easy and unquestionable.
For the 124 Rome Statute countries4 - to be credible states - simply adhere to the legal obligations of the international treaty you signed, and help execute ICC warrants5 - including Putin and others (Hamas dude is dead but they can't prove it so legally need to issue warrant).
If you start up some BS about "standing with Israel" or the "moral equivalence" deliberate obfuscating BS and how the Court is suddenly corrupt when less than a year ago it was just in Putin's arrest warrant - then you are a duplicitous pro-Israeli liar.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was happy to support the ICC warrants issued to Putin on March 23 2023 (noting Russia a non-signatory) and encouraged everyone to comply.
Yet on May 21 2024 he was keen to point out that since Israel and the US not signatories the warrants were invalid.
Which is it mate?
And back then for Putin’s arrest warrant, the ubiquitous US Senator Lindsay Graham extols the exemplary behaviour of the ICC in glowing terms. But today a vastly different story.
“Moral Equivalence” - a red herring from pro-Israeli apologists
As happened when the arrest warrants were requested in May - the pro-Israeli internet exploding with outrage over the inappropriateness of the ICC giving Israel “the moral EQUIVALENCE” of Hamas by charging leaders of both groups in the same communication.
Or conversely anyone who thinks Hamas can’t commit a crime because of their right to resist (which is BS in itself - as on October 7th heinous crimes were committed against defenceless Israeli civilians with hostages taken - completely illegal crimes against humanity).
So it’s worth pointing out - IT’S NOT ABOUT COMPARISON OR EVEN CRITICISING OPERATIONAL CONDUCT, STUPID. Or rather - you know exactly what you are doing - here’s the correction to your BS.
So it’s a logical and legal point:
It is NOT about COMPARING Israel and Hamas, nor their crimes
It is NOT about challenging Israel’s right to defend or Hamas’s right to resist (whatever your views)
It IS about the violation of HUMAN RIGHTS which are bestowed on the individual - a la Nova Festival attendees / Palestinian civilians
It IS about criminal prosecution of individuals that have violated those human rights however it was done
The ICC could have requested/issued arrest warrants at different times to underscore the point but for expediency (and placation) at the same time.
e.g. “moral equivalence” argument is a BS obfuscation by pro-Israeli apologists - notably right up to the US President - to confuse the issue and distract from Israel’s war crimes personified in Netanyahu and Gallant.
US Congress: Laying down the AIPAC tracks as they go
The vindictiveness of US Congress (NOT the majority decent US "silent majority" public opinion) in shifting the goalposts with legislative bill after bill against any opponent of Israel is a literal paper trail of AIPAC Israeli influence.
Here’s some doozies.
HR.282 4th June 2024 - Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act. No shit.
“Honestly guys, what are we going to call this one, it’s getting embarrassing trying to keep a straight face as we say the name of the Bill in the House”
So a Bill that was introduced on 4th June as soon as the prosecutor asked for arrest warrants - to sanction individual ICC judges and their families (assets, education - no rights to study in US for kids, grandkids) IF they had the audacity to independently hold up international law - as they did for Putin - and make a judgement on Israeli leaders.
No shit.
And who introduced this Bill to the House?
Your new “independent” Ambassador the the UN proposed by Trump - Elise Stefanik.
So the Bill passed and Congress are busily enacting execution of sanctions on Judges and their poor kids and grandkids. No College for you.
Couldn’t make it up.
Sanctioning US Allies….
So before Trump can even get his foot in the door to sanction allies with a baseline trade tariff of 10% … Lindsay Graham proposes the following.
Sanctions on any of the 124 countries that act in legal obligation to the treaty they’ve signed, but ONLY if it’s Israel - arrest away if it’s Putin.6
Remember - this is after him tweeting praising the ICC on Putin’s warrant “on the actions of an independent evidence-based body that will stand the test of history”.
I’d love to see the wording of this horseshit Bill from another “unbiased” member of Congress.7
A lesson in integrity: Nelson Mandela
In July 1990 a newly released from 27 years in prison Nelson Mandela visited the US. He appeared on the ABC News Koppel Report in front of a studio audience and was interviewed on a broad range of topics and his thoughts on overcoming the racist, apartheid regime of South Africa.
His talk came to Israel. And he noted the double-standards applied consistently through history to that point when the US and others were dealing with Israel.
Never have Nelson Mandela's words been so important:
"anybody who changes his principles depending on whom he is dealing - that is not a man who can lead a nation
He was given a standing ovation.
Will our politicians finally step up to the plate?
Conclusion
Israel blocked the ICC arrest warrants with technical legal challenges on the request of the warrants May 2024. In the time since before the court issued arrest warrants another 8,172 Palestinians died.
So what'll it be - supporting murder or supporting humanity?

"Invoking the Holocaust"
Prominent Holocaust memorial groups have heavily criticised politicisation of the Holocaust or appropriation of Nazi references in discourse of the current Gaza crisis, as do I.
US National Holocaust Memorial Museum issued a press release statement on misuse of the Holocaust in public discourse.8
Yad Vashem were quick to criticise the Israeli Ambassador to the UN directly immediately after wearing a gold star into the UN Chamber late October 2023 to complain at Israel’s treatment even at that point.9
