Synopsis
I have researched from scratch and written a number of original articles on Substack (“original content” I believe they call it) on the Israeli lobby but this page is really an index article - aggregating the main ones together in a landing page.
It has links to main articles on the pro-Israeli political lobbies in each AUKUS country (🇦🇺 Australia, 🇬🇧 UK 🇺🇸 US). I’ll add this page to the menu at the top of the landing page for Substack.
⚠️ Please note: I update these articles regularly with new information and details - e.g. new Bills coming out in US Congress to specifically counter and silence criticism at every step or other developments. There’s a version history at the top of each article so you can see what’s changed when you check in.

Lobbying
A positive - if you can stay that - element coming out of this awful crisis is that the pro-Israeli manipulation that has always been embedded in Government is being pulled into the cold light of day. It’s as revelatory as the unveiling of AIPAC in 2006 as noted by political scientists Mearsheimer and Walt at the time in their Harvard academic paper which became a book (noting Ilan Pappe has just published a book also this year where he focuses on the UK and US lobbies - Mearsheimer & Walt were primarily US).
The organised lobby is undeniable and it’s clear that when Israel changes as a State for more freedoms - either as Northern Ireland after peace two different states as now or ultimately one - that’s only about 25% of the work in attaining a sustainable peace.
The other 75% is making sure these lobbies are removed from our institutions and properly registered - just as you would with any foreign state influence operation.
They have enabled a genocide (and in fact the whole history of Palestinian oppression) by stifling and manipulating our politicians - therefore documenting the modus operandi and history is important for managing their post-crisis removal to ensure this can never happen again.
Research Notes for articles on lobbying
All information in the articles are:
Publicly available
Quoted in extensive footnotes in the article with URLs to source
Preference for primary source documents (e.g. treaties, UN resolutions in UN library docs, ICJ/ICC original cases, Israeli law etc.) rather than second hand
Where media - all quoted from Western news outlets checked with Media Fact Check to confirm any political bias for context (avoiding far left/right) but more importantly the historical veracity of facts.
Even though Middle Eastern news outlets are fine through fact-checking - to strengthen the argument with pro-Israelis I’m consciously avoiding Middle Eastern sources that could be seen as biased. No offence to Middle Eastern friends - hope you understand the logic!
🇮🇱📣 Pro-Israeli “fact checkers” - always generically named, completely biased and funded by pro-Israelis or the Israeli Government. Any media or other sources that quote the below are immediately not reliable.
Not saying completely untrue - but warrants a cross-check and reference from a less biased source for a balanced picture. Examples NOT TO USE are:
UN Watch - rubbishing the UN as is Israeli State policy and published policy of pro-Israeli lobby groups in Australia (posing as community organisations)
NGO Monitor - rubbishing NGOs operating in Israel - whether Palestinian or Israeli.
Creative Community for Peace - Entertainment industry lobby, aggressively going after pro-Palestine creatives with cancelation through pressuring senior industry management, and promoting creatives performing in Israel (particular chutzpah is the annual glittering gala dinner supplying wine from illegal Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights - kinda gives you a clue about the organisation!)

🇦🇺 Australian lobby

This is the most comprehensive article due to the deeply-embedded and long-term establishment of the lobby here, held in a tight geographical area by a few key related families and lawfare global law firms. Most sub-articles - I live here and see it day-to-day.
Punches well above its weight on the global arena.

Pro-Israeli (Murdoch NewsCorp) Media in Australia - racist and demonising pro-Palestinians in addition to amplifying pro-Israeli propaganda (literally daily - it is like a direct line with the lobby leaders interviewed every single day to push their agenda and skewed viewpoints):
Australian Pro-Israeli lobby - appropriating Australian “fair go mate” language to demonise Palestinian protestors. The appearance of being more patriotic than pro-Palestine supporters important any county. The irony when it is anything but - Israel first always (talking about the pro-Israeli lobby leaders here):
Yom Hashoa (international Holocaust Remembrance Day) - the US Lobby respectfully and quite rightly notes on this day there will be no political point scoring. But not in Australia. For shame:
Pro-Israeli lobby fly in an active serving IDF Major for a publicity tour and no-one bats an eyelid:
False footage - how an extremist pro-Israeli group manufactured “evidence” of people saying the vile “gas the Jews” - which the police later confirmed they didn’t; but it was parroted globally and caused great damage to Australia’s reputation - never mind triggering sweeping pro-Israeli actions in the country before the deception was uncovered:
🇬🇧 UK Lobby

This was originally written as an opinion piece on the UK Election on 4th July 2024 quoting the independent MP for Rochdale George Galloway’s iconic simile on the choice for voters - “two cheeks of the same a*s!”.
Point being - the pro-Israeli lobby is deeply involved in both major parties in particular Labour post the removal of Jeremy Corbyn with some just incredible concessions to the pro-Israeli lobby.
Unlike in Australia - UK political funding is very transparent which makes the direct financial sponsorship of individual MPs very visible - never mind the millions of pounds direct to the parties.
It is not the number of MPs that are funded by the pro-Israeli lobby that is the issue - it is the cultivation over time and the particular Shadow Cabinet or Government Ministerial very senior roles these MPs hold or will hold.

🇺🇸 US Lobby

This was originally written more broadly on influence in the US but since broken out other sectors into different articles. The reason being the ongoing ridiculous shifting of goalposts in real-time with legislation enacted blatantly in Congress to support Israel.
Like the UK - political funding for MPs is extremely transparent in the US - and virtually EVERY Senator and Representative in the House is extremely well funded DIRECTLY by the main PAC AIPAC or other pro-Israeli lobby groups.
The key site exposing this - based on aggregating underlying Federal Congress member political contribution data - is OpenSecrets.Org with the “presentation layer” being TrackAIPAC with some nice infographics on each member. AIPAC is a misnomer as they track broader pro-Israeli sources but do specifically note if a politician is primarily funded by AIPAC. The Infographics are generally posted by activist as replies to the extreme pro-Israeli posts members put on social media, quid pro quo.
For those few Senators and Representatives that do not take pro-Israeli lobby money, their political opponents in their electorates are massively funded by the pro-Israeli lobby either by direct cash or indirectly via PACs to the Party or TV advertising and voluntary canvassing.
What is most disturbing is the real religious ideology that Congress members hold when it comes to Israel which is a “pincer-movement” in addition to the actual funding they receive. They genuinely believe in Israel for Jewish people to further the second-coming of Christ - at all costs which blinkers their humanity.
So much for secular politics.
