Love your photo of Neturai karta. I bet you think that’s a real religious mainstream group.

Thanks for your commend; a fair point - the illustration was more the message in the sign (could be from anywhere) - "Judaism is NOT Zionism" - the same way Israel does not speak for all Jewish people (IHRA). Good complimentary notes Zionism/Judaism from Nexus - https://israelandantisemitism.com/guide-to-identifying-antisemitism-in-debates-about-israel/

Zionism roots are in Judaism. I’m not going to argue that now. Every time I see a photo of Neturai Karta freaks allowing themselves to be used on this way I want to barf. They represent no one. Even non Zionist Chasidic groups don’t show up with the haters of Israel.

And we both know this isn’t about ‘Israeli policy’. We know that’s bullshit. It’s about the very existence of the State of Israel.

No it's NOT about the existence of Israel, it's about stopping an unprecedented human tragedy (and bringing murders from 7th to justice).

Fair point on those Neturai guys having looked at their shoddy old website and a bit of reading, will caveat any posts. As I say it was more the overall point but as you say let's not argue that now!

I don’t believe that you would accept Israel as a Jewish state at all. Those guys with beards don’t. (Not that they are important in any way)

I agree that beards fringe and I will correct (thanks, genuinely).

How do you know I wouldn't accept Israel? You don't know me, so I can only surmise you are generalising about everyone who supports the humanitarian (let's not call it Palestinian) cause which is sad because there would never be peace if no-one was given a chance or open.

I've written more broadly on injustices - genuine - but never once called for lack of acceptance of state.
